Welcome
In 2008, two machinery and truck enthusiasts - Ron Ross and Brad Dwyer - got together, started talking about old trucks and clubs and, in the absence of a club in Sydney, decided to form one themselves.
They set about planning, and gathering necessary items and, early in 2009, historical registration was granted by the RTA and the club name registered with the Department of Fair Trading. The Western Sydney Historical Truck Club (Inc) had its first meeting in December 2009 and hasn't looked back since.
Today, we have about 35 members and enjoy regular get-togethers which include breakfast runs, family run days and sometimes just a barbecue-and-movie night. We try to have something every month and they are always well attended.
If you'd like to join us, and/or have an interest in vintage trucks, 30 years or older, please feel free to contact us. We are able to offer Historic Vehicle Club Registration to members - AFTER QUALIFYING PERIOD CONDITIONS APPLY.
Remember, this site is for the benefit of our members, so if you'd like to send us a few shots of your 'pride and joy' - both before and after - and a few words to go with them, we'd be happy to give you a feature page.
